1. About us

These Terms govern your use of CareerPlatform.io ("we", "us", "our"), operated by KSNH Digital Ventures LLC (doing business as CareerPlatform.io). By using the service you agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not use it to:

  • break any applicable law, or facilitate fraud, spam, phishing, or money laundering;
  • infringe intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights of any person;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the service (malware, probing, scraping, rate-limit evasion, reverse engineering);
  • generate, request, or distribute content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that incites violence;
  • create deepfakes, impersonate real people without consent, or generate misleading content intended to defraud employers, recruiters, or institutions;
  • generate malware, exploit code, or instructions for weapons or self-harm;
  • attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or otherwise bypass the safety controls of the underlying AI models;
  • submit job applications, messages, or other content that contains material misrepresentations about your identity, qualifications, or experience.

3. Account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must provide accurate information.

4. AI outputs

The service uses AI to generate suggestions — resume edits, cover letters, interview answers, AI headshots, LinkedIn copy, job-match scoring, and similar outputs. CareerPlatform.io is an assistive tool with a human in the loop: every output is a draft for you to review, edit, and decide whether to use.

Accuracy. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or fabricated facts ("hallucinations"). They are not professional career, recruiting, legal, financial, medical, or immigration advice and must not be relied on for regulated decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional.

Your responsibility for inputs. You confirm that you have the right to submit any content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, photos, profile data) and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights or any confidentiality obligation. You are responsible for the prompts you submit, the outputs you choose to use, and any consequences of sending those outputs to employers, recruiters, or other third parties.

Ownership of outputs. As between you and us, you own the outputs generated for you, subject to the rights of the underlying AI providers and any limitations of applicable law. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process inputs and outputs solely to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Rights complaints & takedowns. If you believe content on the service infringes your intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights, email contact@careerplatform.io with the URL, a description of the rights at issue, and your contact details. We review takedown requests promptly and may remove content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Content moderation. We may filter, refuse, or remove inputs or outputs, and suspend or terminate accounts, where we reasonably believe the activity violates these Terms, the underlying AI providers' policies, or applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the service, its software and branding. You retain rights to content you submit, and grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service.

6. Service level

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. CareerPlatform.io is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are described in our Refund Policy.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 6 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
